Refresh: Real Life, Real Women, Real Hope

Using the redemptive themes from her book Refresh, Laura speaks to women about the story God is writing in each of our lives. She unpacks the metamorphous going on in each of us and His story being told. This is a message of hope and healing, a message which is raw and real and that leaves women encouraged and refreshed in their own journey.

Faith Unleashed

Most Christians are hungry for deeper, unrestrained faith but do not know how to get there. In this talk Laura captures real-life “unleashed” examples in which deeper, richer faith is discovered by women amidst their imperfect, messy lives. This is a message of encouragement and growth in which Laura outlines steps which women can take toward unleashing their own faith regardless of their life circumstances.

Choices: How We Become Who We Are

God wants to move in our lives individually and collectively! This talk is a fun mixture of stories, teachings and application for our lives. Laura explores choices we make as women in the areas of faith, friendships and family. Using the book of Ruth as a guide to survey our choices, Laura helps women think about how our choices define who we become. Laura also uses real-life modern day stories to illustrate the power and importance of choices and considers what we can learn from the choices of Ruth and others.

Outside of the Box

Sometimes we get stuck…and we surround ourselves with people that are just like us. In this talk Laura shows women the Biblical calling on our lives to think outside of the box – that is to develop friendships with women in different stages and phases of life. Using her book Where Women Walked Laura illustrates the importance of doing life intergenterationally. In this talk women will learn how to develop mentoring relationships and see how rich their lives become when they have friendships with women from different generations.

Joyride

Using the materials from her Group Publishing Bible study, Rendezvous- Joyride, Laura invites women to embrace a new found attitude of gratitude. This talk is a ticket for women to experiencing joy inside and out, back and forth and multiplied. Along the way women will hear compelling, personal stories they’ll identify with and discover how life changes when we live this way.

A Sure Thing

God wants us to experience faith −not just blindly have it. Based on John 9, this talk unpacks the elements of experiential faith and how it plays out in our daily lives. Laura illustrates how God wants to display Himself and His work in each of our lives and how He invites us to participate in what He is up to.

Traveltures: Girlfriends Great Escapes

In this series of talks Laura teaches from John chapters 20 and 21 looking at what Jesus said AFTER He rose from the dead. She explores how Jesus shows up when we are together, how He cares about the everydayness of our lives and how He calls us to a life of risk taking. This is a great spring weekend or day retreat.
